Questions About Our Services and More!

Q. Do you offer free estimates for new installations and replacements of furnaces or air conditioners?

A. Absolutely. Our free and comprehensive estimates include:

  • Manual heat/loss gain calculation (window and door measurements, sun exposure, etc.)
  • Discussion with you about your temperature and heating or cooling system performance needs
  • Code requirements

Q. Do you have financing and lease options available?

A. Yes. If we can help you responsibly afford a new heating, cooling, or ventilation system, we both win. Please call us at (801) 907-6700 for more details, or apply with our credit union partner here.

Q. What about permits and inspections?

A. We’ll pull the proper permits for your installation and also schedule inspections with the city/county. For insurance purposes and resale value, all new equipment in your home or business must be permitted and inspected.

Q. What brands do you install?

A. We install all major heating and cooling system brands, including:

  • Lennox
  • York
  • Carrier
  • Trane
  • And More Options for your budget and needs

Q. How soon can you come to my home and make repairs on my furnace or my air conditioner?

A. That depends on our call volume and whether you receive priority scheduling for being a Planned Maintenance Customer. Call us at (801) 907-6777 for more details.

Q. How much does it cost for a repair estimate?

A. Normally there’s a flat, up-front diagnostic fee of $40 for all estimates, which includes the time to drive to your home and diagnose the problem with your furnace or air conditioner.

Unlike our competitors, our up-front pricing/diagnostic fees contain no hidden costs. The diagnostic fees of many of our competitors include just the drive to your home or just the first half-hour of diagnosis, so their customers end up paying more than they thought they would.

Q. What do you mean by “up-front pricing”?

A. We’ll quote you the total price for the air conditioner or furnace repair, including parts and labor, before we start the job. This means you’ll always pay exactly how much we say you’ll pay—no surprises.

Conversely, some of our competitors give a customer a repair quote, get approval to make the repair, and afterwards throw in a lot of add-on fees. At Comfort Systems USA Intermountain, we know this practice is dishonest and unacceptable.

Q. Do you give free estimates for new installations or system replacements?

A. Yes, estimates for new heating and cooling installations and system replacements are always free. For more info, call one of our representatives at (801) 907-6700.

Q. What are your hours of operation?

A. We work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year because heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems don’t always wait for convenient times to need repair.

Q. Do you have after-hours rates?

A. We have three rate tiers that depend on the times we come out.
For regular service rates: Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
For overtime rates: Monday through Friday before 8:00 A.M. or after 5:00 P.M. or anytime on Saturday.
For double-time rates: Sundays or holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

Q. Will you credit any service charges if I decide to buy a new system?

A. Yes, in most cases.

Q. Will you repair my heater or air conditioning system if another company installed it?

A. Yes, no problem.

Q. Do you repair all brands, makes, and models of furnaces and air conditioning units?

A. We repair all major heating and cooling system brands- New or Old!

Q. What is your service area?

A. The entire Wasatch Front - from Ogden to Provo, Heber to Grantsville and everything in between. We’ll still come to your home if you live outside this area, but there will be additional charges.
